Ted Lohman

As the founder and Managing Partner of Lohman Real Estate Ventures, Ted creates value for partners–both private and public–developing places where communities and businesses can thrive. 

Ted has over 20 years and $1B+ in mixed-use real estate development experience including retail, multifamily residential and office projects nationwide. He’s an expert at managing design teams and directing concept planning. 

Prior to founding Lohman Real Estate Ventures, Ted was vice president at Brookfield Properties where he led the development team overseeing active mixed use projects and pursuits. Prior to it’s merger with Brookfield Properties, Ted was instrumental in leading multiple mixed use/urban infill projects at OliverMcMillan, including The Shops Buckhead Atlanta, River Oaks District and Pacifica Honolulu.  Additionally, Ted was vice president of acquisitions at Convene where he led growth efforts for the hospitality company’s expansion through the Sunbelt.

Ted graduated with a Civil Engineering degree from The University of Southern California and holds a Master of Business Administration from San Diego State University. Has been an active member of both ULI and ICSC nationally as well as numerous local organizations.

Pacifica Honolulu

  • After acquiring a stalled condominium development located in Honolulu’s Kaka’ako district, the project was rebranded and completed as Pacifica Honolulu. The 46-story development has 489 units, 365 sold as market residences, and 124 reserve homes were sold under a Hawaii Community Development Authority (HCDA) program. The development included 10K square feet of ground level restaurant and retail space and was 85% sold prior to the completion of construction.

The Shops at Buckhead Atlanta

  • The Shops at Buckhead Atlanta conveys the ultimate street-scene dynamic in the capital of the South. Offering over 800,000 square feet of customizable space including 300,000 square feet of upscale retail, restaurants and cafés, more than 100,000 square feet of luxury office and 346 units of high-rise residential. Tenants at opening included: Hermes, Dior, Tom Ford, Tods, Moncler, Jimmy Choo, SPANX Corporate headquarters.

River Oaks District

  • River Oaks District is a vibrant destination infusing Houston with even more style and vitality. Situated inside the Houston Loop, River Oaks District is home to 650,000 square feet of customizable space, including: 252,000 square feet of luxury retail, fine-dining restaurants, street-side cafés and entertainment; 92,000 square feet of state-of-the-art, creative office space; and 279 contemporary residential units. Tenants at opening included: Hermes, Cartier, Dior, Harry Winston, Tom Ford, Van Cleef and Arpels, Chopard, Dolce Gabbana, Canali, Roberto Cavali, Equinox, iPic.
